Brazil (3.4 Mt) alone produces more than the rest of the world combined in this ranking — the world's top producer without interruption for over 150 years — ahead of Vietnam (2 Mt), whose spectacular rise since the 1990s (near non-existent before) rests almost entirely on robusta, while Brazil grows mostly arabica.
